The second- and third-row seats fold flat, opening up over 79 cubic feet of cargo space, making it one of the largest cargo holds in the midsize SUV category. In addition, the Smart Slide second-row seats tilt and slide with the push of a button for easy access to the third row.

Available heated and ventilated front seats add comfort to your ride, as do the available heated second-row outboard seats. You can opt for the Dual Skyscape sunroof and open up expansive views with the push of a button. The available heated steering wheel adds sophisticated comfort.

The SLT features a 6-inch head-up display that projects critical driving data to the windshield before you. Every Acadia comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa built-in, plus you get an 8-inch touch screen with navigation that powers your infotainment system. Now you can access your favorite apps, stream your playlists, get navigation information, and more hands-free using intuitive voice commands.

The SLT trim comes standard with a high-definition surround-view camera system. This system employs multiple camera angles to project a view from the front, rear, or overhead. The system works at low speeds to help you identify and avoid obstacles that might otherwise go unnoticed.

The SLE and SLT trims use a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with start/stop technology. GMC pairs this engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission to deliver 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. When properly equipped, the SLE can tow up to 3,500 pounds, and the SLT can tow up to 4,000 pounds.

GMC’s traction select system comes standard on every trim. Front-wheel-drive models can select drive modes such as normal, snow, sport, and tow. All-wheel-drive models add FWD, AWD, and Off-Road modes to your selections for enhanced capability. The AWD with Active Torque Control system intelligently distributes power to the wheel that needs it most to optimize traction under various road conditions.

Acadia AT4 Trim

You’ll find the AT4 logo prominently stitched to the front seat headrests and again on the sill plates. The AT4 comes with a tri-zone climate control system and heated front seats. You can add ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and leather-wrapped heated steering wheel as options.

Every AT4 has AWD and GMC’s traction control system standard. GMC uses the more powerful 3.6-liter V-6 engine with Active Fuel Management technology and a nine-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain produces an impressive 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, plus it can tow up to 4,000 pounds.

You find premium heated and ventilated, perforated leather seats in the first two rows and a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel standard inside the Denali trim. Real ash wood trim and French stitching used on the Denali logo on the headrests adds refined style. Also, you get the Denali logo embossed on the door sill plates.

Under the Denali’s hood, you’ll find the same 3.6-liter engine and nine-speed transmission. This powertrain puts up the same horsepower, torque, and towing numbers as the AT4 but with the sophisticated style of the Denali.

GMC Pro Safety Plus

Every Acadia trim comes with GMC Pro Safety Plus. This suite of driver-assist systems uses a combination of radar and camera technology to monitor your Acadia’s surroundings and alerting you to potential hazards. The suite includes forward collision alert which scans the road ahead, alerting you to possible obstacles. Should you fail to react, the automatic emergency braking system will engage to help mitigate or avoid a collision.

A lane keep assist with lane departure warning system tracks your Acadia while traveling within marked lanes. When the system detects an unintentional drift, it alerts you with gentle steering input. GMC’s rear park assist system projects a live view to the infotainment screen, giving you a look from the rear as you back up.

Every Acadia trim comes with a safety alert seat. This seat uses haptic vibrations to the front or either side, indicating the direction of potential hazards, adding another layer of advance notice in emergencies.
