Connected Access Plan

Buick offers the Connected Access Plan on all its new vehicles. You won’t pay anything for it for the first 10 years of use. This plan includes vehicle diagnostics that deliver real-time information to your cellphone or computer detailing your Buick’s performance. In addition, you’ll see efficiency reports, battery life, and maintenance alerts to help you understand and maintain your vehicle.

In addition, you get the Buick Smart Driver program. This system tracks your driving habits and provides feedback and suggestions on improving your driving and maximizing performance. This system requires data transfer, and if you’d like, you can select an unlimited-access data plan for only $25 per month.

App Access Plan

If you choose the App Access Plan, you’ll enjoy all the features of the Connected Access Plan, plus a few more systems to elevate your Buick ownership experience. The App Access Plan costs $14.99 per month and includes Alexa Built-In. With this Buick Alexa connection, you bring your favorite home assistant on every drive. This system allows you to operate your smart home devices no matter where your busy life takes you. For example, now you can shut off the lights, lock the doors, turn on the security system, and more while driving down the highway.

You’ll also enjoy a variety of in-vehicle apps to elevate your Youngstown commute. Popular apps such as Spotify, Pandora, and The Weather Channel come pre-installed and ready to use. In addition, vehicles come with either Buick Maps or Connected Navigation. Features on these systems vary by model, but you’ll get real-time traffic updates, points of interest, and alternate routes to avoid congested traffic. 

Additionally, the Buick Maps and Connected Navigation systems integrate with your audio system to let you listen to your music while receiving driving instructions.

Remote Access Plan

For $14.99 per month, you can get the Remote Access Plan, which includes all the services of the Connected Access Plan. In addition, it comes with Vehicle Locate service, which enables you to find your car in large parking lots or across town. Vehicle Locate marks your Buick on the map and can provide walking directions if necessary, so you’ll never have to wander around city blocks or parking lots while searching for your car again.

On-Demand Diagnostics comes with the Remote Access Plan. The information provided varies by vehicle, but you’ll receive reports on vehicle systems, oil levels, driving range, and alerts to help you prevent vehicle breakdowns. You decide if all your diagnostic reports go directly to your cellphone as push alerts or if they are sent to your email inbox.

The Vehicle Health and Service Updates system works with our On-Demand Diagnostics system to help you plan for routine maintenance and project possible future problems. You can monitor things like tire pressure, oil levels, and fuel range. In addition, you’ll enjoy the remote key fob that syncs with your Buick no matter where you go. Using your key fob, you can start your car, lock or unlock your doors, and set your climate control system from anywhere.

A Family Sharing feature comes with the Remote Access Plan. With Family Sharing, you can grant access to your remote connectivity to eight people.

Connected Vehicle Plan

If you’re looking for the ultimate connectivity plan, this one has it all for only $24.99 per month. You get all the features of the Remote Access Plan, plus an unlimited Wi-Fi hot spot data plan that turns your Buick into a Wi-Fi hot spot that connects multiple devices with a range of up to 50 feet.

In addition, Buick includes the Buick Maps or Connected Navigation systems depending on the make and model. You can also enjoy the pre-installed apps on the App Access Plan at no additional charge. The Connected Vehicle Plan includes unlimited data to call, text, and stream as much as you like. Part of the unlimited data plan features access to WarnerMedia RIDE, a library of over 1,000 hours of live and on-demand movies and shows.

Get the myBuick Mobile App

No matter which Buick you purchase, you can download the myBuick Mobile App that takes your Buick ownership experience to the next level. You’ll get the basics of remote connectivity, vehicle diagnostics, and even the ability to schedule maintenance from your smartphone.

Buick OnStar

Most late-model Buick vehicles come with Buick OnStar connectivity and a free trial. Buick OnStar offers additional resources in case of an emergency. For example, if you’re involved in an accident, you can push the OnStar button and immediately connect with an OnStar adviser. Your adviser can call emergency services if necessary or a tow truck to help you fix a flat tire.
