Pittsburgh International Race Complex

The main track complex at Pittsburgh International Race Complex caters to formula cars, sports cars, motorcycles, and more. The North Track is 1.6 miles long and opened in 2002, while the South Track is 1.2 miles long and was added to the complex in 2011. The course is 2.78 miles long, with significant elevation changes due to this 427-acre complex’s natural terrain. You can run the tracks independently or all combined for a thrilling experience every time you visit.
You’ll also find Pitt Race in the complex, which is a 0.82-mile go-kart track. Autocross and driver training courses also use the complex’s six-acre skid pad. The Honda four-stroke go-karts at Pitt Race reach speeds of up to 45 mph for an exhilarating experience. You can book individual karting sessions or a group karting event package, including a track takeover event where your group has complete control over the course. Track time is 10 minutes per person, and drivers must be 5 feet to 6.5 feet tall and under 280 pounds, with closed-toe shoes required.
Racing season starts in April and has included races such as the 24 Hours of Lemons, Sports Car Club of America Super Tour, Lowkey Autocross, Xtreme Xperience, and the 2022 Tire Rack SCCA Time Trials National Tour. Several riding schools utilize the facilities, including Yamaha Champions Riding School, California Superbike School, and PA Motorcycle School. Quaker City Motorsports Park
Another drag racing racetrack option is Quaker City Motorsports Park , located at 10225 W. South Range Road in Salem, Ohio. Upcoming events include the Nostalgia Classic, QCMP Summer National, 5-10-5 Race, Night of Fire, and the Great Pumpkin Race. You can find an event calendar online, with upcoming 2023 season dates being added soon.
Quaker City features a quarter-mile track plus 2,013 feet of shutdown area and 300 pit spots featuring 110-volt electricity. The aluminum grandstands have seating for 5,000 fans, and there’s a pavilion with picnic tables, a renovated concessions stand, and a fenced-in playground to make a day of it. Water and air are available near the 14 staging lanes with dial-in boxes at burnout boxes. The scoreboard features mph information and win lights. The souvenir store can top off your evening with essential racing gear to support your favorite racers or events.
Lernerville Speedway
Racing fans, mark your calendars for Friday, April 21, 2023, the opening night of FAB4 racing coming up at Lernerville Speedway . Previous events have included Tony Stewart’s Tezos All Star Sprints, Fab4 Racing plus fireworks, Firecracker 100 Weekend, Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup, and Steel City Stampede Weekend. All kids 10 and under are admitted free for general admission seating to any race, making Lernerville a fabulous family event. Tickets for general admission, the Big River Steel Firecracker 100, Fab4 Get Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy, and the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup are available online.
Lernerville Speedway has been hosting races for over 50 years and is one of the top tracks in the country. Lernerville Speedway also hosts the World of Outlaws Sprint Car series and the World of Outlaws Late Model Series events. This dirt oval course is four-tenths of a mile and is located at 313 N. Pike Road in Sarver.
Bull Run Raceway
Bull Run Raceway is a music event and race facility that features a 300-foot sand drag track, up hill drags, and music events. Bull Run Raceway provides a family-friendly atmosphere with private camping available. Concessions are available on-site and feature exceptional views from the covered bleachers or lawn setting. Previous events include the Bracket Sand Drags, Buckeye Brawl, and Test -n- Tune. Racing takes place at Bull Run from April through October, offering you plenty of opportunities to check it out this racing season.
Pee-Wee racing with battery-powered Power Wheels is available for children five years and younger. The vehicles can run on a 24-volt Fisher-Price battery, but you cannot modify them in any way. The Pee-Wee race runs 60 feet. JR/JR racing is designed for children 6 to 10 years old, although the track does have the discretion to allow 5-year-olds to run this race with approval. Kids this age can race junior dragsters, three-wheelers, quads, and go-carts with a 7.00-speed limit.
For those 11 to 15 years, JR/SR racing allows the same vehicles with a 5.00-speed limit. The track can allow children between 14 and 15 years of age to run the adult quad if they have proof of age and prior approval. To race, all JR/JR and JR/SR racers must have eye protection, full-face helmets, long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. Three-wheelers and quads require a working tether strip, while go-carts and junior dragsters require a working external kill switch. Junior dragsters also need to have arm restraints in the cage to race.
