Power Dependability Award for compact SUVs, scoring top marks in the quality and reliability segment. Keep reading to learn more about the 2024 Buick Envision and its different trim levels.

Trims and Pricing

2024 Buick Envision

The 2024 Buick Envision comes in three distinct trims, with an additional special edition. The trims and their starting MSRP are:

  • Preferred: $33,400.
  • Essence: $37,500.
  • Avenir: $45,660.

You can customize any of these trims by choosing between five exterior colors and two interior colors. The special edition, Envision Sport Touring, is any Envision trim coupled with the unique Sport Touring package. An Envision Sport Touring has a starting MSRP of $34,845.

Engines and Performance

Regardless of the trim you choose, each Buick Envision has the same engine, a 2.0-liter Turbo ECOTEC four-cylinder engine that generates 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Buick pairs this motor with a nine-speed, electronically-controlled automatic transmission. It is stop/start capable, with a deactivation switch that allows drivers to choose whether to use this function. This highly efficient powertrain technology achieves an EPA-estimated 23 mpg in city driving and 31 mpg on the highway with front-wheel drive, and 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on highways with all-wheel drive.

Front-wheel drive is standard for all Envision trims, but you can opt for all-wheel drive with any of them. This available intelligent all-wheel drive with an active twin-clutch automatically adjusts torque to each wheel to optimize traction and respond before any slippage occurs. The system allows you to drive confidently regardless of weather and road conditions. The Envision offers a smooth and comfortable ride, with plenty of zip when necessary. Other notable mechanical features include:

  • A five-link rear suspension: This provides a smooth driving experience with confident handling and minimized road noise.
  • Continuous Damping Control (CDC): The Envision’s advanced suspension optimizes your ride and handling with CDC to deliver a smooth and safe drive.
  • StabiliTrak: This is an electronic stability control system with traction control. It automatically improves handling, especially during emergency maneuvers, by adjusting your brakes and engine torque to help you remain on your desired route.
  • Trailering provisions: These include a connector for an accessory wiring harness.

Interior, Technology, and Cargo

Like the rest of the Envision, the vehicle’s in-cabin amenities are top quality, starting with the driver-centric cockpit. The Envision’s angled instrument panel and center display are intentionally pointed toward the driver to maximize sight lines. Electronic Precision Shift keeps the cockpit clutter-free and provides additional storage.

Other prominent interior features include:

  • Intuitive center console: It uses a dual-winged cover to serve as armrests and allows easy access to storage space from both sides.
  • Air quality indicator and advanced air filter technology: It keeps the in-cabin air clean for you and your passengers.
  • Panoramic moonroof: Allows you and your passengers the best views of your surroundings.
  • 60/40 split rear seats: Customize your seating for multiple cargo and passenger configurations.
  • Ventilated front seats: To keep both the driver and front passenger cool and comfortable.
  • QuietTuning technology: Reduces, blocks, and absorbs unwanted outside noise.

The Envision’s technology matches the quality of the SUV’s interior features. Exciting available technology includes:

  • Wireless smartphone charging pad: Charge your device on-the-go and cord-free.
  • 8- or 10.2-inch Buick Infotainment System with a color touch screen: Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto compatible.
  • Head-up display: This projects selected vehicle information onto the windshield.
  • HD Surround Vision: Uses several cameras to display a digital recreation of the area surrounding your vehicle to help you avoid any nearby objects.
  • Rear camera mirror: You can switch between the camera view and the traditional rearview mirror.
  • Bose premium nine-speaker audio system Includes AudioPilot noise compensation to adjust the volume level and equalization automatically.

Buick builds every Envision to maximize available cargo space. With the rear seats up, the SUV has 25.2 cubic feet of maximum cargo space, which increases to 52.7 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down.

Safety Features

Every Buick Envision trim comes standard with Buick Driver Confidence, a suite of advanced safety and driver-assistance features that include:

  • Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning: Uses a gentle steering-wheel turn to alert you when you’re unintentionally drifting out of detected lane lines.
  • Forward Collision Alert: Can warn you if it detects a potential front-end collision with a vehicle you’re following.
  • Automatic Emergency Braking: Works with Forward Collision Alert to help you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision.
  • Front Pedestrian Braking: Provides pedestrian alerts and can automatically brake or enhance your braking.
  • Following Distance Indicator: Displays the gap time in seconds between you and the vehicle you’re following.
  • IntelliBeam Auto High Beams: Automatically turn on and off according to surrounding traffic conditions.

Warranties

Regardless of the trim you select, each Buick Envision comes with a standard warranty package that includes:

  • Limited warranty covers three years or 36,000 miles.
  • Powertrain warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles.
