Engine

The 2023 Buick Encore GX Select and Preferred come with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo engine that can generate 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of toque. With this engine, the Encore GX gets an EPA-estimated 29 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.

If you choose the Essence trim, you instead get a 1.3-liter three-cylinder turbo engine that produces 155 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque. This version of the Encore GX gets an EPA-estimated 29 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. All trims come standard with front-wheel drive, but you can choose all-wheel drive as an option. If you do, you’ll get 26 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.

Seating

The seating inside the Buick Encore GX is spacious. In fact, the vehicle offers more space than other vehicles in its class, making it an excellent option for large numbers of passengers. The vehicle comes with two rows of seats, with space for two people in the front row and three people in the back. Even with a full load of passengers, the vehicle is spacious and comfortable for all occupants. Infotainment

The 2023 Buick Encore GX’s information and entertainment systems are also impressive.
