And the Awards Keep Coming! 2014 IIHS Top Safety Picks & KBB 5 year Cost of Ownership Awards!

The awards keep rolling in for Chevrolet cars, including the 2014 IIHS Top Safety Picks AND KBB Cost to Own Awards! Over the past week 5 of our Chevy name plates and one of our GMC vehicles have had big time honors bestowed on them. Let’s start with our SUVs:

On Monday the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety announced their Top Safety Picks. Traditionally, the 2014 IIHS Top Safety Picks never go to a midsize SUV. However, for the first time BOTH the 2014 Chevrolet Equinox and the 2014 GMC Terrain have been chosen as 2014 IIHS Top Safety Picks! Both SUVs beat out competitors like the 2014 Honda Pilot and the 2014 Toyota Highlander

Today KBB released their 5 Year Cost of Ownership Awards and Chevrolet cars won 4 awards! This award signifies that these vehicles are less expensive to keep in operation than comparable vehicles. Take a look at the vehicles that won awards:
